I have encountered people who were mad at me because I wanted to physically transform myself as an 18-year old kid.
People made fun of me because I was politically engaged and made it my mission to educate my peers about their civil duties.
People get angry, unfollow me, badmouth me because I share and passionately talk about an alternative, positive approach on a whole range of issues.
And you know what? I don’t care.
Because at some point in my life, very early on, I decided to become the best version of myself.
Because I realised that through my service I can thrive and achieve a better performance. Listen.
There are always going to be doubters, people who don’t like what you want or what you do already today. You are not responsible for their negative energy.
So, don’t allow yourself to accept it to feel that way. Your mission is not to make them feel better. And not to convince them to like you. Your mission is to become the best possible version of yourself each and every day. To go out, with all what you’ve got and to serve other people.
As my mentor Brendon Burchard says: Live fully. Love openly. Live. Love. Matter.
